We were also invited to ride in the Thibodaux Parade on February 14, 2010. Gabby and I had a blast riding together in a Mardi Gras Parade.

The first pageant Gabby and I attended together was St. Charles Farm Bureau on January 30, 2010.

We had alot of fun watching and vititing with the other queens.

Our duties as queen started, December 5, 2009, the weekend after we were crowned. We were invited to help with the "Kid's Corner" at Hope 2 Cope, a local fundraiser for two women of the community with cancer.

Other local queens also came to visit and help us.

On November 28, 2009 at Lutcher High School, during the 20th annual Miss Festival of the Bonfires & 11th Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires Pageant, dreams of two young ladies become true as they were crowned queens. This year we had 5 young ladies vie for the title of Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires and 4 young ladies vie for the title of Miss Festival of the Bonfires. We would like to thank everyone that participated in this year's pageant.

We crowned Gabrielle East Miss Festival of the Bonfires XX and Paige Bourgeois Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires XI.

Our 2008 Miss Festival of the Bonfires Victoria Nassar and 2008 Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires Cherish Vicknair did an awesome job representing the festival and a tradition that everyone in St. James Parish holds so dear to their hearts. They went above and behind what was expected of them. We would like to congratulate them on an amazing year and representing our town so well.

Since we celebrated The Festival of the Bonfires and the Pageants 20th year anniversary we invited all past Miss and Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires queens to share in this years events.

We Visited the La. Crawfish Festival in Chalmette, La where we also judged our first pageant. We helped select 8 queens and 2 kings for their annual Children's pageant held on the festival grounds.

Immediately after being crowned our duties as queen began, and we have been having a blast representing our wonderful tradition. Every weekend brings on a new adventure in a new part of our wonderful state. Here are just a few of the pictures from some of the places we have traveled to including Louisiana Queen of Hope, Southwest Mardi Gras, and Washington Catfish just to name a few. I will keep everyone updated as our year continues.

On November 29,2008 The Festival of the Bonfires held its 19th annual Miss and 10th annual Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires Pageant. This years pageant was a huge success.

We crowned Victoria Nassar as the 2008 Miss Festival of the Bonfires and Cherish Vicknair as the 2008 Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires.

Our 2007 Miss Festival of the Bonfires - Hailey Keller and 2007 Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires - Brianna Waguespack did an amazing job representing the Festival and the unique cajun tradition we have in Lutcher.
