Louisiana Crawfish Festival - Chalmette,LA

We Visited the La. Crawfish Festival in Chalmette, La where we also judged our first pageant. We helped select 8 queens and 2 kings for their annual Children's pageant held on the festival grounds.

Washington Catfish Festival

We got lost on the way to Washington, we were really in the middle of no where.

We finally made it to Washington and had to stop and take a picture to prove it.

Thibodaux Mardi Gras Parade

To celebrate the biggest festival in Louisiana, Victoria and Cherish rode in the Thibodaux Mardi Gras Parade the Sunday before Mardi Gras.

Some of our travels so far!

Immediately after being crowned our duties as queen began, and we have been having a blast representing our wonderful tradition. Every weekend brings on a new adventure in a new part of our wonderful state. Here are just a few of the pictures from some of the places we have traveled to including Louisiana Queen of Hope, Southwest Mardi Gras, and Washington Catfish just to name a few. I will keep everyone updated as our year continues.

On November 29,2008 The Festival of the Bonfires held its 19th annual Miss and 10th annual Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires Pageant. This years pageant was a huge success.

We crowned Victoria Nassar as the 2008 Miss Festival of the Bonfires and Cherish Vicknair as the 2008 Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires.

Our 2007 Miss Festival of the Bonfires - Hailey Keller and 2007 Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires - Brianna Waguespack did an amazing job representing the Festival and the unique cajun tradition we have in Lutcher.
